Bacon Wrapped Haloumi
Ingredients
1 kilo of streaky Bacon
500 grams of Haloumi
1 tsp of Pepper
1tsp of Paprika
1 tsp of Thyme
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
Slice the haloumi into thick fry style sticks
In a separate bowl, mix all the seasonings, and dunk all of the haloumi into it ensuring that all them are well coated
With one slice of the bacon carefully wrap around the haloumi stick, potentially use a tooth pick to keep them together; repeat until all sticks are gone or bacon is finished.
Place in the oven and check after 15 minutes, you will need to keep checking until golden brown.
Take out of the oven and serve! great with honey or something light for a dip.
